Dr. Dt. Zeynep Balat was born to parents who were both doctors. Her scientific interest and love for research led her to the 2007 TUBITAK inter-student scientific competition with a research on “The effect of electromagnetic waves on cellular NO levels” at a young age. Thanks to his social and scientific side, he took an active role in the CIP (Community Involvement Project) project carried out with Robert College in Gaziantep and Istanbul during high school and participated in the Yeditepe University Inter-High School Debate Competition. In 2009, Zeynep participated in a student exchange program with a high school in the Villingen-Schwenningen region of Germany and graduated from Gaziantep Kolej Vakfı Private Anatolian High School in 2010 as the valedictorian of her term and school.

Following her successful high school life, Zeynep enrolled in Bezmialem Vakif University Faculty of Dentistry with the 2010 LYS exam, and after a year of English preparatory education, she completed her undergraduate program in 2016 as the first in the faculty.

Between 2016 and 2017, she worked as a general practitioner dentist in Istanbul. In 2017, she started the Orthodontics PhD program at the University of Health Sciences and in 2022, she earned her doctor (PhD) degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics with her thesis titled “Investigation of the Effects of Gluten-Free Diet and High-Fat Diet on Experimental Orthodontic Tooth Movement”.

Today, she serves her patients in her office in Şişli, Istanbul. Specializing in clear aligner treatment (invisalign), wire treatment, preventive and preventive orthodontic treatment in pediatric patients, Dr. Zeynep has a special interest in digital orthodontic treatments.

Dr. Dt.Zeynep Balat is also a member of Turkish Dental Association, European Orthodontic Society, TAD (Turkish Aligner Association).
