Dr. Zeynep Balat grew up in a family of healthcare professionals and has always viewed orthodontics not only as a field of expertise but also as a meaningful way to improve people’s lives.

She graduated top of her class from the Faculty of Dentistry at Bezmialem Vakıf University and later earned her PhD in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Health Sciences in Istanbul.

Throughout her academic journey, she actively took part in national science competitions and international exchange and social responsibility programs, including the TÜBİTAK Science Project Competition and the Community Involvement Project (CIP) in collaboration with Robert College.

Following her graduation, she worked as a general dentist for one year before fully focusing on her orthodontic specialization. Since 2017, she has been actively involved in orthodontic treatment planning and patient care, combining evidence-based practices with clinical experience.
